Opalescence Whitening
In-Office Whitening Before In-Office (shade-A3.5) After In-Office (shade-A1)
In order to achieve the maximum amount of brightness, it is best to have a cleaning within 6 months of your in office whitening.
HOW IT WORKS
Opalescence whitening gels contain a powerful whitening ingredient—either carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide. Peroxide gels break down into water, oxygen, and reactive oxygen molecules. These reactive oxygen molecules oxidize the bonds of discolored stain molecules. By changing the stained molecules, the tooth appearance becomes lighter.
Opalescence Home Advanced Whitening: Some patients prefer to use a teeth whitening procedure that they can take home. The take-home whitening kits can be used in conjunction with an in-office procedure to maintain the brilliant whiteness between treatments. Using the take-home kits in this manner is especially helpful if you smoke or drink a lot of staining beverages, such as coffee or tea. The great advantage of this system is you have full control over how white your teeth get and you can touch them up rather inexpensively and without having to come to the office.
Opalescence PRO In-Office Whitening: When at-home whiteners aren’t doing the trick, it might be time to consider professional tooth whitening at our dental office. We offer the latest in tooth whitening technology with the Opalescence PRO Whitening system. With just one in-office session, your teeth will be “glowing”
